Artisan Enoch Adjei of Ghana hand carves this sese wood decorative mask. With an elongated dark brown round face, the mask is accented with four textured reddish aluminum plates on the cheeks and forehead. The eyes and lips of the mask are also accented in dark red. The artisan titles this mask Esaabia, a Ghanaian Akan female name.

This was different than I expected. Didn t look as in picture. I gave it to my daughter and she liked it.

There is no mistake the mask is handmade. But, it also looks like it was created by an artist who knew what he was doing.
