Sefah Annwhar of Ghana handcrafts this African mask he names Kasha, which means "love" in the Gonja language. The artisan carves his original design from sese wood, and adds applications of clay for a rustic finish. Shades of black, ivory, and red create a natural, cohesive palette, and hints of green and yellow add brightness to the circular design on the forehead.
