Designed by Indian artisan Niyaz, this petite box was inspired by Persian carpets. The velvet-lined box is crafted of kail wood and covered with papier mache before being carefully painted by hand with lavish floral motifs. The artisan uses poster paints as well as pigments derived from natural flowers.

“Persian Mandala decorative wood box”
