Indian artisans embellish the pattern with hand-embroidered motifs and finish the shawl with a row of dangling fringe on either end.

“Beautiful colors, heavy embroidery”

This shawls background material is fairly finely woven with a paisley pattern. The embroidery, in contrast, is made with fairly heavy thread. The colors are beautiful. The heavy embroidery makes this particularly good for wearing with a winter coat or on a very chilly day

The weather has been hot, so I just got my first chance to wear this gorgeous shawl. Its lovely, beautifully handcrafted, and very warm and snuggly. It will be a treasured part of my wardrobe. The colors are gorgeous, the workmanship is exquisite. So Happy I bought it!

“Much prettier in person”

I love shawls and this is a really nice well made and warm scarf. The embroidering is a nice highlight. It came fast and well packaged.
