Maribel Posso takes inspiration from traditional Pucara bulls to create this joyful Pucara horse. It's handcrafted in ceramic and painted with colorful floral designs over a white background.
Pucara figurines are a tradition native to the Puno region of Peru that mixes Andean beliefs and traditions with Spanish influences. The sculptures symbolize prosperity, happiness, and fertility and are commonly gifted to newlyweds and kept in homes as good luck amulets.

I just love this little guy. I have him on the mantle and enjoy him everyday. I hope to one day visit Peru and explore. But for now I have my little guy to dream with.

I love the souvenir as much as the story behind it. The workmanship is perfect, and I keep this gorgeous figurine on my mantel year-round. It goes with my summer decoration just as well as with my Christmas garland and ornaments.
