In tones of blue and yellow, geometric motifs form concentric patterns in this tapestry. Luis works on an artisanal telar de pedal, or floor loom to hand-weave this tapestry of wool.

“Amazon Macaws Tapestry”

I received the Amazon Macaws tapestry today. I bought this tapestry because I have such fond memories of seeing these magnificent birds in the wild at the clay lick in the Amazon. The tapestry is more beautiful than the picture on the NOVICA site. I received my parcel all the way from Peru in just a week, amazing. Thanks Luis I am amazed you can capture these birds in flight in a tapestry. I will treasure it.
