Like a medallion from an ancient Hindu temple, Om appears on a wall sculpture by Thai artisan Somyot Sawasdee. He crafts the round wall panel by hand with recycled paper and cement, and finishes it with green and gold paint, creating the illusion of an aged bronze piece. The plaque features a hook on the back for hanging.
In Hindu tradition, Om (also Ohm or Aum) is a sacred incantation to be intoned at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas, as well as prior to any prayer or mantra.

I really like it but I wish the center was a shade different color than the rest for it to stand out. It was very well packaged.

This sculpture is lovely and looks exactly as shown. However, the seahorses nose broke off the first time I picked it up. I was able to glue it back together, but its very fragile.

This arrived in record time and is absolutely gorgeous! The picture does it no justice. Thank you Somyot, you are truly gifted and I love the idea of you recycling instead of contributing to pollution.
