This intriguing pendant necklace is from the Migliozzi Studio in Guatemala. The sterling silver pendant features 13 silver beads on each side of a polished black jade cabochon; the beads represent the current baktun according to the Maya Long Count Calendar. According to that method of dating, the 13th baktun began on December 21, 2012. The pendant centres a sterling silver rolo chain.
