Historically, crosses are commonly seen in Mexican homes. Guadalajara-based artisan Margarita Revilla takes inspiration from these to create this beautiful version. She works in aluminium repoussé, the neat crosshatched patterns recalling the motifs in Mexico's petatillo pottery. A flower blooms in the centre to host a cobalt blue bead of recycled glass.
