Juana Mendez of Mexico weaves the textile in 100% cotton in a mustard yellow with four, equally-spaced stripes containing colorful diamonds. She works on the backstrap loom in the same way as generations of Maya women have done since pre-Hispanic times.

“work of art”

I purchased this to gift my neice this comming Christmas. This is beyond what I imagined it to be. The craftmanship, creativity, material, vibrant colors and design make this a true work of art. I am really thinking about ordering several more to gift this holiday season. Kudos to the artist.
