Native to tropical western Africa, Terminalia superba, or ofram wood, is prized for its workability and finish. Here, Robert Aidoo-Taylor of Ghana uses ofram wood to craft this mask of his original design.

Named for Queen Amina of Zaria-Nigeria who ruled in the mid-sixteenth century and was the first woman to become the Sarauniya, or queen, in a male-dominated society. The memory of Queen Amina has achieved legendary proportions, and this mask is a testament to her bravery.

“Lovely and well made”

I thought the bracelets were well made, but I bought them for my grandson n they barely fit. Too small! However the delivery was quick and the packaging was beautiful!!
