The term Kente refers to a Ghanaian textile made of handwoven cotton cloth strips in vibrant colors which is native to the Akan tribe. This original work by West Africa's Budu Larbi Ernest uses acrylic paint to depict a woman in profile and further embellishes the painting with Kente cloth earrings.

Gorgeous painting that has hung proudly in my home for years! This painting is even more beautiful in person with its vivid colors and abstract quality. Mr. Ernest is a very talented artist and I will definitely be purchasing his work again in the future!
