Inspired by the traditional kendama game, Thai artisan Waraporn Khamsuk creates this joyful game. A handle and a ball are hand-carved from natural raintree wood, connected together via a cotton string. The challenge of this game is to swing the ball up so that it lands in the cup or on the pointed end of the handle.

“A marvelous piece of entertainment”

I had never seen a three-dimensional game like this. I gave it to my grandkids for Christmas and they immediately started playing with it, challenging each other. A bit hit!
