Finding inspiration in this luminous satellite, artisan Fida Hussain handcrafts this set of three moon ornaments in different sizes, carving each item from weeping willow wood. Working in his Indian workshop, Fida paints traditional floral motifs in blue and white tones for a charming accent.

“These elephants and their tapestries are beautifully painted!”

I recall my friend from India gave me an elephant decor when I moved away. I certainly can imagine these ornaments as symbolic of carrying one of the wise men that Christians celebrate at Epiphany (January 6).
