Evoking the mystery of the nativity star, Sierra Family artisans transform natural white onyx into a set of six ornaments. The Bible tells how a wonderful star appeared in the East to guide the Magi to Bethlehem, where the Christ child was born. Thus the star is a beautiful symbol of Christmas.
White onyx is not a solid color. Instead, it has natural veins that make each stone absolutely unique.

These are beautiful. Well crafted and finished. But be very careful - even though they are stone, they are delicate. When I was hanging the last two little ones the star point with the hole/ribbon broke off both of them. Darn! I would replace those two with two bigger ones except that they only come in the assorted set of 6. Still, now that you know this in advance, just be very gentle!

This matched set makes perfect Christmas decor, but in fact is suitable for almost any display. The silver-white stars are subtle in their beauty; onyx is an elegant choice of material. Im extremely pleased with fine workmanship and sensible pricing.

As beautiful as this board appears online, it s even more breathtaking in person. I have very recently learned how to play chess and have been playing incessantly online, so I decided to treat myself to a real board, and when I stumbled upon this one I knew it was a no brainer. I placed it on my coffee table so it s not only a gorgeous center piece, it s a functional one as well. Thank you for this product!

I call these stones worry stones. I gave one to a friend when we were stressing about something. We knew that each had one, so the burden was shared.
