“lovely design, true to photo gem”

Fits true to size, delicate yet sturdy weight ring. Peridot gem is true to photo, crisp clear green. Only cons were there were some sharp edges left standing up on prong setting, which I could easily smooth with a bone burnisher. Also some inner metal leftover edges inside swirls and on the center bead..also I was able to file down and smooth with a needle tip diamond bead reamer tool myself. If I wasnt a jewelry maker myself and didnt have the tools or knowledge to remedy, this might have been a disappointing issue for others who buy. Overall, I love the ring very much but suggest more attention to finishing during crafting phase. Thank you!!

“Gold-plated cultured pearl stud earrings”

These are beautiful earrings. I like the contrast of the pearl with the gold plated metal. Well made. Nice size. I like that the post is centered in the back. Glad I purchased these earrings.

“Beautiful design”

Onyx is smaller than expected but the intricate design surrounding it is absolutely stunning and makes the stone so noticeable! Glad I ordered one size larger because it has a thicker band. Love this elegant beautifully crafted ring, Ketut.

Ketut Sulastri's jewelry incorporates traditional Balinese jewelry designs and contemporary trends. She happily teaches silversmithing to her assistants, and others interested in learning the art, but finds that many younger artisans are more interested in braiding, macrame and non-traditional techniques.

Job Creator

Ketut Sulastri began to work with silver at the age of eight. Her family was poor and they needed the money for food. She also used her income from silversmithing to pay her school fees. Today she has her own workshop and is very happy to provide work for other women in her community.
