Traditional Red Tuff Stone Stela Sculpture from Armenia, "Altar to Devotion"

Made as an homage to the region's ancient arts and history, Miqayel Nalbandyan's newest creation draws inspiration from the cathedrals and temples that ornament the Armenian landscapes to create this khachkar or stela sculpture from tuff stone in a glorious red tone. The piece features a cross and classic leafy and floral details, all hand-carved by the artisan using ancestral techniques.
