Bandhani is a tie-dyeing technique practiced mainly in western India. Intricate patterns are created by wrapping the fabric with string before dyeing it. When the fabric is untied, natural patterns appear in the places where the string prevented the dye from taking hold. Bandhani cloth is often used for women's shawls, but here the technique is adapted for a silky maxi skirt. Made of knit viscose rayon, the skirt drapes beautifully and features an elastic waistband for comfort.

Im 56.5, #130, and the size small skirt comes to mid mid-calf vs. ankle length. Still looks great, just not as long as pictured.

I am 55 and medium sized. The skirt is not full length , as the photo shows. It actually ends at top of the colors in the photo and must be taken in around the bottom hips down to fit like the photo. Otherwise, the fit is fine and the colors in photo are accurate.

Beautiful knit hat and very warm. Although I knew the design is only on one side....wish they would put it on both sides...but still very happy I purchased this. Love the colors. Love the workmanship.
