The pendant is on a 17.75" chain which is a good length to show off the pendant. I tried it on a 16" chain and it did not look good. Can wear the pendant with small - medimum earring that are sterling silver with a high shine and do not have the same decorative work as the pendant. Refine, pretty. Light weight, but not flimzy. Happy with purchase.
