These look great anywhere! They are a conversation piece as everyone wants to know where I acquired them and then I share the symbolism of the birds reaching back. They could go anywhere in my house because they look formal enough for a nice dining room.
This little guy looks exactly like the photo online though I can see slight discrepancies in the painting, just as you would with a handmade item. I love him and he now lives with the other penguins in my collection.
An excellent choice of what would normally be scrap wood. It works well. I would suggest that the birds be wrapped separately when shipped because of their beaks being so delicate.
