Nyoman Indrawati Subrata's gorgeous mask depicts traditional Balinese attire for the Legong Keraton dance, which is often performed after religious ceremonies in Bali. She starts by carving the mask from suar wood before painting the surface in a stunning array of shimmering colors. Her father, the late master sculptor Nyoman Subrata, is her inspiration.

Made Tresna transforms the unique grain of hibiscus wood into a mask of powerful transcendence.
