My great grandparents immigrated from Ireland to America because of the potato famine in the mid-nineteenth century. My father worked as a railroad engineer early in his career. He would have liked these iron bookends upcycled from railroad spikes. Bravo!
This item is so beautifully made. Only thing is it's packed very tightly so the 1st one I got the glass cracked and spread when I took it out. They replaced it right away. I love it and use it for the jewelry that I make.
