Wood sculpture, 'Tree in Winter'

A beautiful sculpture for my home.

I fell in love with this tree the moment I pulled it gently from the shipping container. The picture on Novica does not due it justice. John states that he is a perfectionist about his art and I think he attained it with this piece. It reminded me of winter in Minnesota where I grew up when the first robin of spring shows up and we know the long winter is almost over. I am over the moon about this piece and will treasure it for the rest of my life. It cheers me up every time I look at it.

Wood and leather chair, 'Colonial Coffee'

beautiful design

This chair is beautiful to look at, and I do so wish it were more comfortable for me. It may be good for other people, but unfortunately I've found that it causes me back pain. Although I imagine the leather would soften over time, it is very hard to sit on, and I have to use cushions on it to provide back support as well as cushioning for the bottom. Because of covid, I haven't had anyone else here to try it out, but I'm hoping that it's good for visitors even though it's not good for me. I do love to look at it.
