So glad I found this new-to-me Oaxacan artisan on Novica. Thank you Alejandro and Rocio for the adorable treasure. Such amazing painted details! He has joined a carved wood Nativity set from Guatemala. He has many other friends from Oaxaca and Guatemala that were added to the set.
I love this colorful bear alebrije. Beautiful detail and craftsmanship. So glad I added him to my collection of treasures from Novica. This is a perfect gift for anyone who loves bears.
Just as I received the teachings, now I share them with my children in the workshop. Our dream is to expand our artisan workshop and showcase our art to the world.
