This is a very detailed, beautiful retablo rendition of the nativity story with colorful details from S. American culture. It has been displayed many times at the annual Christmas Creche Exhibit held every year in Palo Alto, CA. I am proud to have it as part of my nativity collection.
This is a beautiful traditional depiction that is exquisitely done. The detail is stunning in both the carving and the coloration. My grandmother had a similar portrayal in her home when I was a child and I was thrilled to find this! It’s gorgeous!
