Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead

The vibrant tradition of Dia de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican celebration honoring departed loved ones with joyful festivities. Sugar skulls, Catrina sculptures, paper banners, alebrijes, and bright orange marigold flowers are used to decorate colorful altars, which are the centerpiece of this unique tradition.

Skulls!

This is my second Festival of the Dead coaster collection from Ana. They capture the spirit of the holiday and are a welcome addition to my home theater room where guests can enjoy them. As always, solid craftsmanship, bold colors and great designs.

I wear this all the time.

This is another piece that I wear in celebration of the day of the dead. It is very well made and durable.
