The San Andres Xecul Angel that soars in the parlor of my nineteenth century row house in Baltimore reminds me to be kind to strangers and the homeless man who crosses your path for you may be entertaining angels unawares.
This was a Christmas gift to a recipient who always gets some form of a reindeer every year, and this was a total hit this year. Beautifully and artistically well made.
It never ceases to amaze us how intricate and well-made this piece is... The calendar really makes an impression! We've hung it in our workshop, where we often work with wood, as inspiration to keep pushing the boundaries and not to balk at complex projects. Many heartfelt thanks to the artisan!
