They Might Make You Prettier Too!

These were a gift for Christmas. Not everyone knows that Iook best in slender, long dangle earrings, but my hubby has picked up on that over the years. He found these on his own and couldn't wait to see my reaction. They immediately went into my ears, and I went to the mirror, where I saw my face brightened both from the beauty of the earrings and the gratitude I felt toward my hubby for picking them out. They are thoughtfully crafted with a curl to them and are quite substantial for silver jewelry. The design on them looks more like texture from any distance, but whether you study them up close or just catch a glimpse, it's obvious they're special. I haven't been around many people these past months, and it's hard to wear earrings with face masks, but I put them on just to wear around the house or when I go for a walk. I love the way they swing in my ears. My son asks me to put them on! He is nine years old and says they make me prettier.

I had a major birthday during a pandemic so I decided to celebrate with a tattoo done by my nephew. It is a hummingbird and these lovely earrings make a perfect companion to it. I love those birds and I especially love this version of them done by a talented artist. They are larger than I expected and appear to be kissing my cheeks when I wear them!
