So impressed by the quality and detail!

Product picture

Received this mirror in such a timely manner from Marcos. It was packed so well to make it's way to NYC, and once I opened it, I was even that much more impressed than how great it looked online. Marcos' level of quality and detail shows his talent and craftmanship. LOVE the way it looks as you enter my apartment - and love that i'm supporting local artisans.

A most BEAUTIFUL and loved glass wall mirror!

Product picture

I have two wall mirrors from Mr. Luzalde, this one and 'Colonial Fleur de Lis'. I mention this because I realize that although both mirrors are very different, I have a real problem trying to decide which I love best! They are both the most BEAUTIFUL mirrors I have ever owned. 'Cusco Corona' is strikingly unusual, very modern looking (to me), and very beautiful. It is circular and uses silver, gold and copper colored sun-like effects. I love it and enjoy it every day! 'Colonial Fleur de Lis" has a rectangular frame with large silver fleur de lis that have a circular turquoise glass center. Inside that, the frame has a thin gold rather geometric design. I love this mirror and enjoy it every day! Thus, two reviews together.

My 3rd mirror. **Please use better hanging hardware!**

Product picture

This is my 3rd reverse painted mirror from Asunta Pelaez. 1st was the small Crimson Star; then the octagonal Black Star; and my birthday present was this golden Sweet Flower Majesty. They are all beautiful, but I do have one complaint: Though the mirrors increased in size/weight, all are pre-mounted only with a single relatively cheap piece of hanging hardware (pictured -- the scratches on the paint are from hanging the mirror my wall, the removing it for the picture). I would need to *very carefully* mount another piece of hanging hardware to hang a mirror horizontally. Also, the existing hardware is both somewhat flimsy (I live in an earthquake zone), and mounted so near the edge of the frame that if you use a hook instead of just a nail, the hook is visible above the mirror. At the moment, my solution is to paint my hanging hook to match my wall. I would prefer to mount better hardware to the mirror, but the mirror is thin and I worry about breaking it if I add hardware!
