I have several animals made by Jon Anderson (tortoise, elephant, ram, tree frog, gecko), and they are all gorgeous. He is an amazing artist. I am thrilled that some of his items are now available on Novica because I can support his art and Novica at the same time. All of the decoration on the animals was made by manipulating the clay; none of it is painted on. The technique is impressive, but what I love about his animals are their expressions and grace. They embody joy.

A couple of years ago in a Grand canyon store, I saw this wonderful polymer clay cat. It was so cute! Then I was hooked. I love the gorgeous and precise polymer clay work of Jon Anderson. I have the cat, moose, polar bear, penguin and bighorn ram collected so far.

Just get them!

I debated getting these for a long time. I'm glad that I talked myself into it. I was worried that they would be too big, but they aren't. They are substantial, but not heavy. The detail is clear. The stones are richly colored and bright. And I love they are on decorated ear wires instead of generic ones.
