I found myself drawn to the meticulous detail in this zippered cosmetic bag by Maria Ramos Sanchez. I love the grazing Alpaca under a bright sun. I also appreciate that this case came with free gift wrap that includes a tiny worry doll adorning the ribbon bow. Nice colors, great stichwork, and a lot of character

I was somewhat on the fence about how cartoonish the birds looked in the picture, but I love birds and I love purple, so I figured it was worth getting. Up close, you can see just how detailed and perfect the stitchwork is. It also becomes clear that she is depicting these birds in naturalistic poses that I recognize from my own birds. Ms. Perez is clearly both a great seamstress and a great observer of nature, and she also has a good color sense. I also really like the composition on this piece.
