I am proud and very grateful to have two of Pedro's pieces for our new kitchenware after losing everything in a CA fire last year. I lived in Spain and in Mexico as a student and have always appreciated the artistry of Talavera-style pottery. The design is intricate, the colors true and gorgeous; the pieces are elegant as weight belies the sturdiness of the pottery. Everything was expertly packed. This is the third tray like this I have purchased from Asunta Pelaez; the first in this color. All have been beautiful, flawless painting, and loved by my friends to whom I have gifted them. I love mine, in the blue, but honestly I think this is the prettiest one yet. These trays come extremely well packed and I doubt they could be damaged short of driving over them!
