A Beautiful Work of Wearable Art

My necklace arrived today in the lovely packaging with a handwritten note from the artist. All beautifully done! But the most amazing part is this gorgeous necklace! The craftsmanship is just stunning. The hand-wrought components are each exquisite and it is just the right size and weight (petite and not heavy.) Wearable Art!

Perfection on a string. A dozen stunning Lapis lazuli stones (Who doesn't love night-sky Lapis?) flecked with gold pyrite and beautifully matched in size and polish are separated by lengths of Lapis and garnet beads in this elegant necklace. It's just the mid-length I've been looking for--suits a variety of necklines. Two vivid, complementary colors along with its classic simplicity make this a versatile piece of jewelry. What a find!
