Costa Rican artist Jairo Mora has never let his disabilities stop him and that is why in spite of having no arms and legs he started painting when he was a child by holding the brush in his mouth. His artwork is inspired by fauna, like this splendid composition of two horses riding in the sky crafted with acrylic paints on canvas.
Titled Caballos en el Cielo in Spanish.

This is my second purchase from this artist. The other painting was of a traditional house. This one is a totally different picture with much activity going on. It has elements of pop art and it makes for such a great subject. It is appropriately entitled Masquerades, and it is a work of art. I look forward to see what other masterpieces this artist will produce.

It is hard to believe that such a person could paint such an excellent outdoor scene of a traditional Costa Rican house baffles the mind. This is such a nice painting, and it exceeded my expectations, and it is truly a work of art-especially theat hummingbird in the front. Well done once again!
