Shades of red, orange and maroon color this ruana with timeless elegance. Different teams of artisans within Guatemala's K'amolon K'i K'ojonel are involved in the creation of this rayon shawl, from those who dye the yarn, to those who spin it, to those who weave it on a backstrap loom. Each artisan works from home, keeping a millenary textile tradition alive.

I love this woven scarf, but it s quite long on me. I am 5 foot two and have to wrap it over around my neck numerous times..

Kamolons poncho is everything described. I like wearing it with a tank top underneath or a three-quarters length cotton shirt. Can be dressed up or down. Mostly I love knowing something about the artist and supporting her excellent work.
