“Very Pretty But Arrived In Pieces”

I have had my eye on this for a while. I have bought from Mr. Barrow before and was very impressed with his unique high quality wooden sculptures. The sculpture arrived and seemed to be very well packed but when I unpacked it, the largest heart had split down the middle. It looked like the glue holding it together had dried out. I was able to glue it back together- it took some trial and error to find the right glue and to figure out how to hold the pieces together until the glue dried. It looks OK but not perfect since I am a messier glue-er than this seller. But it is together, it twirls and its cute.

“Makes me smile”

John Barrow is one of my very favorite living artists, and I have collected quite a few of his pieces. When I opened this package, I was greeted by this jaunty fellows delightful grin. The light-hearted sculpture is a departure from Barrows other work. It is shiny and whimsical and so much fun. I purchased it on a whim, but it has quickly found Its way into my heart.

“Tomas sends an instant smile to your heart!”

I sent this as a gift! It was love at first sight! She named him Tomas He is the same on both sides, so he is reversible, which I hadnt realized. The red and blue colors are vibrant! This is so well made and sweet.... instant smiles!
