With wide eyes and a serious expression, this personage wears a pointed headdress with polished brass insets. Sefah Mohammed carves and paints the mask by hand, embellishing it with colorful glass beads. His own design, it is named Ahene Kye, which means "royal hat" in the Twi language of Ghana's Akan people.
