A master of traditional African design, Godfred France creates an elegant mask that arises from his own imagination. Its slender, elongated shape is harmonious, the features balanced by a wide forehead and colorful headdress. Inlays of shining brass and copper wire distinguish this handcrafted work of art. It is named Danjo, a word that means "protection" in the language of Northern Ghana's Wala people.

I have been collecting some African art, including the bust of a beautiful African woman which took me many years to find and to find just that right piece. The hand-carved Continent of Africa includes five carved-out animals which I hope you can see. It was a huge find. But when I stumbled upon Novica and the African Mask. Well, it was like finding the Rosetta stone. Your masks have found their way into my heart and a wonderful place in my home that I proudly display and want to share with you. I have many beautiful collectibles from all over the world. I believe I collect these items because I feel they bring me closer to all the magnificent people GOD has placed on earth. I hope you enjoy the photo I sent. I do understand that only five of the seven pieces are your creations. Thank you and to the other artists for your fine work in preserving history and a fine culture. Thank you again, Mr. Godfred France. I also forgot to mention that my favorite mask is God is Supreme
