Mexican artist Mercedes Collado paints a colorful, vibrant composition, hoping to express herself and share her emotional experience with the viewer. Working in the expressionist style, she paints the historical figure Gandhi, remembered for leading a peaceful Indian revolution against British colonization. Says Collado, "I think that Ghandhi was a person with light. The fireflies and Gandhi express the way both possess their own light."

A beautiful addition to our home in the S.F. Bay Area. It really captures the spirit, and the color is fantastic. Thank you, Mercedes Collado. Also, it was packed very well; it made a second shipment undamaged to the west coast.
