Copper and bronze vase, "Empire of the Inca"

Gleaming images from Peru's splendid Inca civilization pay tribute to its glory. Working in copper, Ana Maria Enciso embosses the motifs on a vase. Polished bronze adds shine, with a war god and birds on one side. The other side depicts battle scenes and a warrior whose helmet takes the shape of a ceremonial tumi blade.
