Copper wall adornment, "Lambayeque Deity"

Images from the past revisit the present with this admirable wall adornment by Ana María Enciso. The main character in this composition is a deity from the Lambayeque culture. He is wearing an enormous headdress as he holds a ceremonial tumi knife in one hand. The scene is vividly detailed in copper repoussé with added bronze ornamentations in high relief.
