An old song of the Ayacucho region has the retama flower, also known as the weaver's broom, as one of the principal elements of its lyrics, made in honor of those who courageously endured the darkest times of the country. Inspired by the brave spirit and culture of the Andes, artisan Waldo Berrios creates a reversible scarf featuring the flower in a palette of black and red hues for an intense style. The accessory is crafted from an alpaca, acrylic and wool blend, adding a soft texture to the design.

My scarf just arrived….beautifully packaged I might add which shows that there is great pride and attention to detail! The shawl is absolutely gorgeous! Red and black combination is always so classically stylish. I can not wait to wear it during my upcoming trip to Europe!
