Expressionist Xylograph Print of X-Ray of Man and Fetus, "Conception"

A side portrait of a human is depicted as if it were an MRI or X-ray image. We get to see the intricate bone structure as well as a fetus in the stage of development that replaces the brain. Guatemalan artist Spencer Samayoa says of his striking xylograph print in black and white: "This artwork is inspired by how the images that are formed in our brain are our own personal interpretations that give birth to the conception of an idea."
