This ring is absolutely stunning! The moon face is intricately carved and detailed. The swirled design and the thicker sterling silver setting accentuates the moon face and creates a beautiful piece!
You can find our garnet Y necklace 'Crimson Pis Bolong' by Buana in jewelry categories such as Good Luck Necklaces, Birthstone Necklaces, Garnet Necklaces, Silver Necklaces and Sterling Silver Necklaces. Enjoy exploring these sections for other Novica treasures.
Job Creator
"When I began to work with Novica I started with nothing, I could barely support my family. Today I have a growing workshop, and a number of silversmiths work with me."
Preserving Traditions
Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.
Microcredit Financing
Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.
Caring for Children
When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
Enabling Education
Buana provides for the education of his two children.
"Since joining you in 2006, a lot has changed in my life. I now own a house… and this has been completely life-changing. One thing I can do to repay this is to give you my very best work."
