Traditional Huichol elements such as the deer and the snake can be seen on this excellent small rabbit sculpture from Miguel Díaz in Mexico. The figurine is crafted from papier mache and then covered with tiny glass beads using beeswax. A gorgeous and meaningful artwork. The beadwork is meticulous. The patterns and colours are mesmerising and vivid. And best of all it looks exactly like a jaguar! I love it and will treasure it. I also appreciated the wonderful wrapping and presentation, which meant this item was received in the UK in perfect condition. Wonderful. Warm cheers to Mexico!
