This original pair of wood mask sculptures is designed by Ghana's Victoria Agyepomaa. The masks are carved by hand from sese wood and embellished with embossed brass plates and copper wire. The male mask is distinguished by its squared jaw and beard, while the female has a narrower face and long hairstyle. Meedo means "my love" in the Akan language of Ghana.
