Akan people present the "Nhyira" mask to those who have contributed to their society. Meaning "Blessings" in Twi, this long mask is crafted by Robert Nortey. He carves the sese wood replica by hand featuring an elaborate headdress with white clay and half-opened eyes. The brown mask is lavishly adorned with embossed aluminum and painted details.

Dear Mr. Nortey, Thank you for your beautiful, stunning Nhyira mask. The textures are lush, exotic and intriguing. This wonderful work of art hangs in my living room and certainly makes a statement. One cannot take their eyes off the Nhyira mask once they enter the room. Thank you once again and I wish you all the best and many blessings.
