Guatemalan artisan Manuel Delfino hand-carves this colorful rooster figurine from pinewood, hand-painting a tropical floral motif. Carrying on the family tradition of woodcarving in the footsteps of his father, Manuel runs his own small workshop creating employment in his community, building handicrafts and the local cultural identity simultaneously.
