The art of kantha finds its roots in the Indian subcontinent, notably in the areas of West Bengal and Bangladesh, where it emerged as a traditional embroidery technique. It consists of stitching together two pieces of discarded saris to create new and reversible garments that are a visually compelling collage of history and culture. Rajveer presents an exquisite silk scarf crafted through this revered and eco-friendly method where splendid screen-printed motifs dance over a canvas of vibrant colors. One side boasts bright hues of fuchsia, yellow, green and grey while the other features ginger, pink, green and purple shades. Loose threads form delicate fringes at both ends as the finishing touch to this unique accessory.

The subtle patterns and the soft colors make this a delightful scarf. Luxurious and lovely.

Surprised to receive this scarf which is not silk and is not like it seems in the picture. I wouldn t buy it for even 15$. Yet, I paid over 35$ for it. Want to return it. I have other silk scarfs and saris which are pure silk. I know what silk is like.
I aim to help the world experience traditional values through these crafts, which are both beautiful and meaningful.
