Indonesian artisan Gusti Ngurah Semarajaya hand makes these bell-shaped ornaments out of albesia wood and paints each with a heron stretching its wings on the shore of a beautiful blue lake surrounded by abundant green foliage and pink blossoms. The ornaments are decorated on both sides.

“This is a cherished heirloom…”

As with the wooden doll, spiritual seeker, this is to a mystical creation. My husband continues to comment on the skills and imagination it took to create such a piece. Again, many thanks. If any one is considering purchasing one of Gusti creations, the answer is an overwhelming YES!!!
